Your future area of responsibility:

You are proficient with scientific, relevant methods and concepts of business information systems in relevant areas and excel in practice-oriented teaching and research.
Your academic track record and relevant professional activities and expertise has a clear focus on at least one of the following thematic areas, namely Business Transformation, Business & Process Analytics, Generative AI or Cybersecurity.
You are familiar with innovative didactical concepts and approaches and will be engaged to improve curriculum and contents of our study programs.
You are willing and motivated to teach as well the fundamentals of business information systems on the bachelor level.
You have a track record in practice-oriented research projects and publishing high quality papers in the field of business information systems.
You contribute to advance our Business School through evolving offered study programs and engaging in organizational tasks and self-governance.

Your profile and qualifications:

You have completed a university degree, ideally in business information systems, computer science or comparable discipline.
You have gathered relevant professional competence and profound experience in the field of business information systems, and specifically in the relevant subject areas.
You should have experience in academic teaching.
You show a high level of motivation and commitment for academic teaching and applied research.
You provide evidence of recent publications and ideally research activities in the relevant subject areas.
You have gathered experience in acquiring research projects and have knowledge of public research funding programs and mechanisms.
You are a team player and demonstrate collaborative spirit.
You have a good command of English and capability to teach courses in German and English.

The formal requirements for applicants are a university degree and a Ph.D. or a comparable scientific qualifica-tion. A minimum of five years of postgraduate experience is required, of which a minimum of three years must have been gained outside the university.
